Ohio Waterfowl Association

Our mission statement: The mission of the Ohio Waterfowl Association (OWA) will be to promote Ohio's water fowling heritage through education, example and advocacy for all waterfowl enthusiasts in order to conserve our waterfowl resources and ensure that our children's children can enjoy what we love and share today.

Our Vision Statement: Ohio will continue to be a premier waterfowling state. The OWA will be the recognized leader in promoting our waterfowling heritage through responsible stewardship of Ohio's resources.

Recognizing the need for an aggressive, but reasonable, collective of Ohio's waterfowlers to organize and promote the ethical and conservation based hunting of waterfowl, the OWA is developed to tackle the many complicated issues involved with waterfowl, waterfowling, and waterfowling heritage.

From its inception, the OWA will represent Ohio's waterfowl, waterfowlers, and waterfowling heritage to the best of its ability. Committed board members are ready and willing to lead the OWA in a direction that will benefit Ohio.

The OWA is made up of a body of concerned and cooperative members. By becoming a member of the OWA, these members are pledging to the unwritten oath of representing the OWA and Ohio's waterfowl, waterfowling, waterfowlers and waterfowling heritage to the best of their ability. Those members will collectively be the voice of the OWA and what it represents. Volunteering their time and energy those same members will make the OWA a strong force in the legislation, conservation and ethics of Ohio's waterfowl, waterfowling and waterfowling heritage
